The Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction (10838NAT) is a nationally accredited, Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 5 qualification with a professional and internationally recognised outcome.
All approaches: it’s the complete Pilates toolbox. Pilates ITC Students at this level gain skills in the science of human movement and the application of the Pilates Method in group class, and using the full complement of Pilates apparatus in a Studio setting
Unlock the power of the Method. Understand its systems, tools and fundamental principles and learn how to apply this responsively to provide a corrective Pilates experience with a broad scope of applications from low-risk special conditions like pregnancy, through to rehabilitation and elite-level conditioning.
Our Diploma Students are comprehensively trained. They’re capable, skilled communicators; critical- and creative-thinkers who understand how to make the Method work for clients.
Pilates ITC Graduates understand their scope of practice and have a global understanding of where they fit and can be most useful in the Allied Health chain, making this qualification compatible with and complementary to other science-based discourses and professional industries.
The Diploma is designed to be completed in 12-months based on an average weekly time commitment of four (4) hours per week of combined on-the-job (Work Placement) and Self-Directed Learning (SDL).
While some familiarity with anatomy and physiology is an advantage, there are no pre-requisites for the Diploma. We meet you exactly where you are!
Life doesn’t stop! That’s why the Diploma has been designed to be completed parallel to a full-time work commitment. Let us help you find your fit and make your course work for you!
The Diploma picks the best bits of digital and in-person delivery so you enjoy a truly supported versatile learning experience. Students have access to a wealth of online resources and plenty of opportunities to get hands-on with the Method and collaborate with peers and Educators.
Skilled, capable and ready to teach: our Graduates are in high-demand at home and abroad. Our Students are snapped up by employers quick smart! You don’t have to wait until the end to go teach: Students are cleared to work at the completion of each Stage of coursework (but more on this later.)
A health- and fitness-qualification that’s backed by science. The Diploma curriculum is informed by modern health and movement science to complement and integrate with Allied Health as an intelligent, corrective fitness modality. We invest in compliance, review and quality improvement to maintain only the highest standard of education and professional outcomes.
Our Students have access to the most current teacher training applications delivered by leading Educators, in some of the finest facilities in the country.
