All courses are assessed through a variety of methods in alignment with the principles of competency-based training. This will include practical teaching demonstrations, written assignments, projects and case studies, and online exams. More detailed information regarding assessments will be provided upon enrolment.
Assessment is provided in face-to-face format on specifically scheduled contact days. If for any valid reason a student is unable to participate in the assessment contact day, they may apply to PilatesITC to provide their assessment in filmed/recorded format for assessment. This application must be undertaken in writing.
Assessment contact days are given in the course schedule of dates.
Where possible, PilatesITC make available reasonable adjustments in assessment for individual needs. It is the responsibility of the student to inform PilatesITC if they require an adjustment or special consideration for completion of assessment tasks.
