Continuing Education

2017 Continuing Education

We are very excited to launch our 2017 Continuing Education Programs, including face-to-face workshops, online workshops, masterclasses, special events and career pathways for everyone.

In 2017 PilatesITC will also be ‘going green’. We want to help create a healthier future for everyone to enjoy and this means contributing to a greener planet and fostering the health and wellbeing of our future generations. To do our part we are committing to reducing our impact on the environment, and ask that you help us to do so.

Our year starts off with the awe-inspiring Deborah Lessen in March. Having had to post-pone her workshops from 2016 due to spinal surgery, Deborah is now feeling better than ever and ready to take everyone to Pilates-nirvana in Australia 2017.

And don’t forget we have our annual International Pilates Day on the first Saturday in May, under the initiative of the Pilates Method Alliance as our global industry body.

Along with these great events we have CEP opportunities ranging from short to long, online to contact, and everything in between. We think it’s a fantastic selection and have made sure that our programs all earn you PDPs / CECs toward your professional development.

Enjoy reading our offerings by downloading the full 2017 CEP Schedule and when you are ready, register online by selecting your preferred city to the left.

And the good news keeps coming … we are still working on yet another great program coming from the US during the course of the year. As soon as dates and program is confirmed for this we will let you know. Make sure you are on our subscriber database to hear the news first up. Register via our Newsletter Subscription box at the bottom left hand side of this page. And stay tuned for more!

PilatesITC is delighted to continue our collaboration with National Pilates Training  and Aligned for Life Studios Melbourne, and PFI Training and Pilates Fitness Institute in West Australia, presenting a number of programs including Deborah Lessen, in both Melbourne and Perth over 2016.

PilatesITC is very proud to support the work of our preferred charity Bluearth Foundation.

Screen Shot 2015-12-01 at 1.58.38 pmBluearth is a national health promotion charity on a mission to improve the health of all Australians and address the burden of disease that is associated with our increasingly sedentary lifestyles. To achieve this Bluearth recognizes the need for generational change, therefore needing to actively engage Aussies kids to develop their physical literacy and provide them with the skills and motivation to lead active lives.

Bluearth delivers programs throughout Australia in urban, rural and remote communities to show the value of movement and create positive experiences in activity. Our work with schools, teachers, parents and carers highlights how they can encourage and nurture children to be active every day, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Bluearth also works with practitioners in allied industries, through our Physical Activity Australia division, to provide support and through our networks and advocacy efforts bring physical activity to the forefront of the health agenda in Government, within corporations and in the media.

Everyone has a role to play in an active nation and we invite you to join us in building a foundation for a healthier Australia through the discovery of the power and joy of an active life.
